Friday's Gathering in the Lounge

If you click on the photos below, it will open up a larger version of that photo. Clicking that photo, will usually zoom in much closer.

(Friday, Sept. 27th, 7:59pm)

It appears the Friday's gathering has a lot of classmates present.   Patty Sweeney and Kathy Norris are ready for their pictures to be taken.   You will see that they act like a magnet pulling in others to have their picture taken.

But first here are a couple of photos of them being best of friends.

Debbie Ponte is the first one to be drawn into their photo session.

David Moreland and Rich Letcher are next to be enticed into Kathy and Patty's photo shoot.   A very photogenic group to be sure.

Now they've also reeled in a prized catch named Tom Eggert.

They are unstoppable now that Debbie Dorius has joined them.   With this kind of talent, it's no wonder the Class of '69 is so revered.   I could make money selling this photo as a pin-up poster.  I'd have to share the money with Mark Holmesley because he's the one taking the photos.

Pushing the guys aside, Kathy, Debbie, and Patty create a Charlie's Angels poster.

In contrast to Kathy and Patty's posse, other classmates are more camera shy.  We have Kathy Whittaker (Winter) showing Ron Rosenlof something on her photo.  Ron's wife, Terri is talking to someone in a blue dress.  In the background wearing the Mega Dank beer T-shirt is likely Kathy's husband, Scott.  He's a connoisseur of beer.  I'm not sure who he is talking to.

Mark took this photo showing the other part of the lounge showing more classmates present.  Marilyn Matthews is sitting at the table in the middle.

Here's a close-up of Marilyn at her table.   I count 5 different liquor glasses.   There's a shot glass, a martini glass, a wine glass, a large tumbler, and a small tumbler.  I would recommend just ordering one drink at a time instead of five.  Otherwise, you are just showing off.

Now Kathy Norris is getting some competition with another Kathy, Kathy (Winter) Whittaker who is front and center of this nice photo.   It appears that Kathy was showing Ron and the lady in the blue dress a photo of a Time Tunnel wall.   When I zoomed in on her phone, I could see it was showing photos from the 25 and 30 year reunions next to a poster showcasing Mark Holmesley's fiddle making skills.

I'm also impressed that Kathy found a blouse that has the same color of purple as the Time Tunnel walls.

It looks like Patty Sweeney and Kathy Norris has finally joined forces with Kathy (Winter) Whittaker.   However, the time is 2 and a half hours later.   I guess Mark Holmesley put away his camera during those 2 and half hours.  Or maybe there was vote to not have any cameras for awhile.  Whatever happened, it looks like they are still good friends and happy about the Friday night gathering.
